Terms of Use for ScanSpace

Welcome to ScanSpace! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ScanSpace mobile application and related web services provided by VivaThinking Technology Co., Ltd. ("VivaThinking", "we", "us", or "our"). By installing, accessing, or using ScanSpace, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
ScanSpace provides 3D LiDAR space scanning, 2D/3D floor plan generation, automatic floor area and measurement metrics calculations, CAD/PDF/3D file exporting (including .DXF, .PDF, .PNG, .OBJ, .USDZ, .STL formats), AR measurement tools, and optional cloud synchronization features.
2. Subscriptions and Payments (ScanSpace Pro)
ScanSpace offers optional auto-renewable Pro subscriptions ("ScanSpace Pro") to unlock premium features such as full CAD/DXF export, HD 3D reconstruction, and unlimited cloud backup. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store.
- Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Renewal Charge: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current subscription rate.
- Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your auto-renewable subscription at any time by going to your Apple ID Account Settings on your iOS device.
3. Measurement Disclaimer
ScanSpace utilizes device LiDAR sensors and AR spatial technology to capture room dimensions and generate floor plans with centimeter-level precision. While highly suitable for interior design planning, preliminary floor layout drafting, and area estimation, ScanSpace is provided for reference and productivity drafting purposes only. Professional architectural verification and traditional manual measurements are recommended prior to executing structural load-bearing modifications or heavy construction work.
4. Intellectual Property
All software, user interface designs, logos, algorithms, and documentation contained in ScanSpace remain the exclusive property of VivaThinking. You retain ownership of your generated 3D scans, floor plan layouts, and exported files ("User Content"). You grant VivaThinking a limited license to process User Content solely as necessary to provide and operate the Service.
5. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the ScanSpace application; bypass or interfere with security measures or subscription controls; or use automated tools to extract proprietary assets or algorithms.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VivaThinking shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use ScanSpace.
