Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I play Chaos Match?
Tap tiles to move them into your collection bar. Match 3 identical tiles to clear them. Clear all tiles on the board to win. Be careful—if your collection bar fills up, it's Game Over (Overload)!
2. What is "Overload"?
Overload happens when you have picked too many tiles without making a match, filling your collection bar. You must clear tiles to free up space.
3. How does the World Rank work?
Every time you win a game (in eligible modes), you contribute a "Win" to your profile and your country/region. The leaderboard displays the top countries based on total contributions and your personal rank within your region.
4. Why is the game offline?
You can play Chaos Match offline! However, to update your World Rank or participate in the global leaderboard, you need an internet connection to sync your results.
5. How do I save my progress?
Your progress is saved locally on your device. Please avoid uninstalling the app or clearing local data to ensure your stats are preserved.
6. Can I change my region?
Your region is automatically detected based on your device settings or IP for the leaderboard. You can view your assigned region in the Profile header.
Advanced Settings
- Theme & Language: Switch between light, dark, or system themes and toggle English/Chinese in Settings > Appearance/Language.
- Sound & Music: Toggle sound effects and background music in Settings.
- Clear Cache: If you encounter issues, you can clear local cache in Settings. This will remove temporary files but keep your progress.
