Privacy Policy for Whalex

Whalex ("we", "our", or "us") is developed by VivaThinking. This policy describes how we handle your information when you use the Whalex app (iOS, Android, Web).
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Whalex, we may collect:
- Account Identifiers: Anonymous user ID and GUID generated on first launch. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we additionally store your display name and email address to personalise your experience.
- Usage Data: Watchlist preferences, saved stock/ETF symbols, search history, and filter settings stored locally and synced to our servers.
- Device & Technical Information: Device type, OS version, locale, app version, and anonymised crash/error logs used for diagnostics.
- Subscription Status: Whether you hold an active Pro subscription and its expiry date, verified through Apple / Google billing.
- Feedback: Messages submitted via the in-app feedback form or email to support@vivathinking.com.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide core features: 13F institutional data tracking, smart-money overlap analysis, and portfolio trend visualisation.
- Sync your settings and watchlist across your devices.
- Verify and unlock Pro subscription features.
- Diagnose technical issues and improve app performance.
- Respond to support requests and product feedback.
3. Data Storage
Your preferences and watchlist are stored locally on your device (SharedPreferences / SQLite). A synchronised copy is maintained on our servers (Tencent Cloud, mainland China) to enable cross-device access. SEC 13F market data is sourced from public filings and does not contain personal information.
4. Third-Party Services
- Apple Sign In / Google Sign In: OAuth tokens are passed to our server solely to link your account; we do not store raw OAuth tokens.
- Apple / Google In-App Purchase: All payment processing is handled by the respective platform. We receive only subscription status notifications.
- Google AdMob: If shown, advertising uses device advertising IDs in accordance with Google's privacy policy. You may opt out via your device settings.
- Cloudflare R2 CDN: Static assets (images, icons) are served via Cloudflare CDN. Access logs may include IP addresses, which Cloudflare retains per their own policy.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This action:
- Sends a deletion request to our server to remove your user record.
- Immediately clears all locally stored data on your device.
- Removes your display name, email, and watchlist from our servers within 30 days.
6. Children's Privacy
Whalex is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@vivathinking.com.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Whalex（"我们"）由 VivaThinking 开发。本政策说明您在使用 Whalex 应用（iOS / Android / Web）时，我们如何处理您的信息。
1. 我们收集的信息
- 账号标识符：首次启动时生成的匿名用户 ID 和 GUID。若您使用 Apple 或 Google 登录，我们还会存储您的显示名称和电子邮件，以提供个性化服务。
- 使用数据：本地存储并同步至服务器的自选股、筛选偏好、搜索记录等。
- 设备与技术信息：设备型号、操作系统版本、语言区域、应用版本及匿名崩溃日志，用于诊断问题。
- 订阅状态：通过 Apple / Google 支付验证的 Pro 订阅状态及到期时间。
- 反馈内容：通过应用内反馈或发送至 support@vivathinking.com 的邮件。
2. 信息用途
- 提供核心功能：13F 机构持仓追踪、聪明钱重叠分析、组合趋势可视化。
- 跨设备同步您的设置和自选股。
- 验证并解锁 Pro 订阅功能。
- 诊断技术问题，改进应用性能。
- 回复支持请求和产品反馈。
3. 数据存储
您的偏好和自选股本地存储于您的设备（SharedPreferences / SQLite），同时在我们的服务器（腾讯云，中国大陆）保留同步副本以支持多设备访问。SEC 13F 市场数据来自公开文件，不含个人信息。
4. 第三方服务
- Apple 登录 / Google 登录：OAuth Token 仅用于关联账号，我们不存储原始 Token。
- Apple / Google 内购：所有支付均由对应平台处理，我们仅接收订阅状态通知。
- Google AdMob：广告展示时使用设备广告 ID，可在设备设置中选择退出。
- Cloudflare R2 CDN：静态资源通过 Cloudflare CDN 分发，访问日志（含 IP）由 Cloudflare 按其政策保留。
5. 数据保留与删除
您可随时在 设置 → 删除账号 中注销账号，该操作将：
- 向服务器发送删除请求以清除您的用户记录。
- 立即清除您设备上的所有本地数据。
- 在 30 天内从服务器删除您的显示名称、邮箱和自选股。
6. 儿童隐私
Whalex 面向 13 岁及以上用户。我们不会故意收集 13 岁以下儿童的个人信息。如您认为儿童向我们提供了个人数据，请联系我们，我们将立即删除。
7. 您的权利
根据您所在司法管辖区，您可能有权访问、更正或删除我们持有的个人数据。请发送邮件至 support@vivathinking.com 行使相关权利。
8. 政策变更
我们可能不定期更新本隐私政策。重大变更将通过更新顶部"最后更新"日期的方式通知您。继续使用应用即视为接受更新后的政策。
