Depending on how you use Seeky, we may collect:
- Learning Progress Data: Including words discovered, categories unlocked, quiz accuracy, learning duration, and daily streaks.
- Application Metadata: Anonymous user IDs, session timestamps, error logs, and feature usage analytics.
- Device and Technical Information: Device type, OS version, locale, and anonymized identifiers necessary for diagnostics and cloud sync functionality.
- Feedback and Support Messages: Information submitted through in-app forms or email.
2. How We Use Information
We process data to:
- Provide core functionality such as language learning progress tracking and content synchronization.
- Generate personalized learning reports and statistics.
- Monitor service reliability, debug issues, and improve the educational content.
- Send administrative notifications or respond to support requests.
3. Local Storage and Sync
Learning progress and local preferences are stored locally on your device using platform-standard storage (SQLite/SharedPreferences). You can clear cached media (images and audio) from the settings menu to free up space; your core learning progress remains saved.
4. Cloud Processing and Retention
Your learning statistics are synchronized with Viva Thinking’s managed servers if you link an Apple account. We retain this data to allow you to restore progress across devices. We do not store sensitive personal data.
5. Third-Party Services and Sharing
We may share data with trusted processors that help us operate the Service, such as analytics tools or cloud infrastructure vendors. These partners are bound by contractual obligations to protect your information. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising purposes. There is no behavioral advertising in Seeky.
6. Security
We implement technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. However, no system is perfectly secure.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You may:
- View your learning stats and progress within the app.
- Delete local cache via the settings page.
- Delete your account and associated cloud data via the settings page.
- Update language or theme preferences at any time.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights (e.g., data portability or objection). Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you reside. We rely on contractual safeguards and industry-standard protections when transferring data across borders.
9. Children’s Privacy
Seeky is designed for children and we are committed to their safety and privacy. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not collect personal information from children under 13. We do not include third-party advertising or links to outside websites without a Parental Gate. Parents can manage data and accounts through the secure Parent Center.
10. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in technology, law, or our practices. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
