Act VI Synthesis: The Tragedy and Splendor of Evolution’s Endgame
Act VI worked through the watershed at the end of three hundred thousand years of homogeneous Homo sapiens: the technological singularity breaks the shackles of biology and forces humanity to make a final choice among carbon-based finitude, silicon-based higher dimensions and virtual bliss. No choice comes without a price, and no fate is absolutely superior. It is precisely this divergence that lets life bloom, on a cosmic scale, with unprecedented tragedy and splendor.

Evolution never promises happiness; it only selects for fitness.
The Lotus-Eaters pursue perfect happiness yet are the first to die out across generations; the Bio-Purists keep faith with classical suffering and reality but face being crushed by a technological gulf; the Cyber-Ascendants win the power to survive on an interstellar scale, at the cost of erasing every romantic illusion of the individual as an “independent Homo sapiens.”
Facing a cosmic divergence so vast and so cold, how is each ordinary person living today to fix their own existential coordinates?
